Angus, Pradipto”Roy”and Oswald “Ozzy” take a second off training to get there photo taken (pictured in name order). Angus, Pradipto and Jackson (not pictured) are fighting for Victorian state junior titles on 22nd of September, held at the Italian club Werribee. Ozzy although not a junior, is still looking for a match and is ready to go! If successful at the state titles, they will gain the opportunity to represent their state in the national junior titles, being held in Queensland. The boys are chewing at the bit and hungry for their fights, we wish them all the best.

Congratulation's Adam Leavers. Adam fought in the masters on Saturday in Ferntree Gully and won via second round stoppage! It has been a long time since Adam has competed, as I turned Adam pro 5th/May/2000, during his pro career he had 10 fights. Adam had too many tricks up his sleeve for his Tasmanian opponent. He was always a pleasure to train and he still has that devastating left hook.
Pictured with Adam (middle) and myself (left) is another blast from the past Dean Keady (right), who also used to fight in my promotions around the turn of the century.

This Friday the 2nd of August, we will be beginning our sparing evenings. From 5pm onwards anyone can come to have a friendly spar with someone that is compatible. All the contact will be supervised so no-one will gets hurt, it will also be a great opportunity to learn a little bit more about technique.
All you need is a mouth guard, hand wraps and 16oz sparring glove's. We can supply the glove's but it is highly recommended that you purchase your own, which we sell in the foyer! Some of the amateur boxers will also be available to move around to teach. It will be a great experience to get involved. Normal prices apply. We have four amateur fighters’ representing The Fighters Factory in the state championships on this Sunday (4th/August). Come watch brothers Jackson and Sonny Bell, as well as Predipto Roy and Angus Napier (pictured) fighting against the best in the state. We have also entered Oswald (Ozzy) Hughes in to the Cos Brizzi memorial cup, this potentially makes him the 5th boy to represent us at this event.

Full steam ahead for with 4th of August, at the Whitehorse club in Burwood East the next fights for our Amateurs. Sonny and Jackson will both be fighting in the eliminations in the state junior titles and Ozzy will fight anyone they put in front of him!
