PROUDLY PRESENTS

PROFESSIONAL BOXING

“FORT KNOX EXPLOTION”

Knox netball centre

Dempster St

Ferntree Gully (mel ref 73 J 4)

The Knox netball centre (Fort Knox) comes alive again on May 2nd when the hottest prospect in Australia Oyewale Omotoso puts his unbeaten 5 and 0 (5 KO’s) record on the line when he takes tough experienced Philippines Boxer Glen Masicampo. Massicampo has 11 wins, 6 losses and a draw. He already has the experience of fighting internationally having fought in South Korea. Masicampo will give the unbeaten Omotoso a test and it will be a good match up.

Omotoso is moving up the ranks quickly and is fighting very regular and most of his bouts have ended up a victory in the 1st round.

As always on Fighters Factory promotions there is a great line up of undercard bouts to wet the appetite. The show will kick off with a local match up with Dale Charter of Kingsbury who has 1 bout for a draw takes on tough Bentleigh boxer/kick boxer Tim Rolf.

This will be a willing encounter over 4 x 3 minute rounds.

Unbeaten Female prospect Susie Ramadan steps up to her first 6 round bout against an opponent yet to be named. Another exciting prospect to be introduced to Melbourne boxing fans is Johannes “Tito” Mwetupunga.

“Tito” has a long rangy style like Thomas Hearns and will shake up a lot of middleweights in Australia and he is a very exciting addition to Ozzy boxing.

Paul Burke is back in action after his exciting shock loss last time here at Knox and he takes on the willing Sydney boxer Nick Xipolitas. This will be a great match up as both boys are coming off a loss and both want to get back on the winners list.

The main supporting bout is a great match up between Preston’s Steve Attard and Queensland’s Brian Fogarty. Steve Attard is unbeaten in 4 bouts with 2 wins and 2 draws and Brian Fogarty last time here at Knox lost a bruising hard fought battle against Pat Rullo. This will be a toss of the coin fight as Attard will be stepping up to his first round bout.

Like all fight nights at Knox the night is fully licensed with table service to tables. Book your tickets early as this will be great night of entertainment. Doors open at 6:30 pm with the first bout kicking off at 7:30pm.

Hope to see you at the fights!
